I’m not sure when it happened – perhaps covering anatomy within biology, but at some point in my youth, we explored the eye’s blind spot.
And it’s an interesting realization – that the mind will “fill in” what one can’t see – in order to make the picture complete.
And lately I’ve been considering the similar effect in the social world.

My vices are few, and I think they relate to such good experiences that I can’t help but to have fallen in love – with Chocolate, Gaming, and the Shower… (I know, not what you might expect to see following the word vice, but they work for me)
The last of these because of the insights I find letting the water splash over me.

Rarely in life do I see things as clearly as in my last post – Getting Ready – and then have an immediate followup…
Here on Timely Insights we post articles on Mondays … the answer came on Tuesday. And while I was ‘ready’ in the sense that I knew something was coming, I was still shocked at what it was.
Something’s on the horizon in my life – I just don’t know what it is or how long before it arrives.
You see, I’ve been cleaning my personal office space over the last few weeks … sorting through old files and boxes of stuff, tossing clutter, and rearranging things … all in preparation – for something.
And if that’s my nesting response, the question is -
What am I getting ready for?
