Write It Down
How many ideas have been forgotten…
It’s amazing – the thought is in your head with such clarity and conviction that you can’t believe you will ever forget it.
Write it down anyway…

Clarity
It couldn’t be clearer.
The broad strokes, the details, the supporting information. You’re not sure how it came about, but at the peak moment, you couldn’t have thought it up any better.
Conviction
Not a “might do”.
Not a “maybe”.
This will be done – soon. You have no doubt.
Until you don’t…
The first day later you still recall most of the details and intend to get it done.
The fifth day you struggle to put the details in place, and pat yourself on the back at having recalled it.
The fifteenth day you catch a fleeting image and know you had something that would have been cool…
Just write it down
So yes, I’m feeling at times like those odd characters that inhabit books and movies. You know – the ones with a notebook full of jotted ideas. The odd balls that wake up in the early morning and scribble on paper left by the nightstand.
Mostly because you can never count on your muse to find you when you need it to, it arrives on its own schedule.
And if you don’t take action immediately – to write it out in as much detail as possible… You can count on that idea finding someone else.
